Who’s driving the van?
Bo and Kristen Abbott started Summer Snow with a rusty VW van and a dream to bring fun and connection to their Boulder community through artisanal sweet treats that harken back to the nostalgic summers of their childhood. They believe that you should be able to pronounce all of the ingredients in your dessert and that kindness is just as important.

FounderKristen is an artist, mother, and entrepreneur. She loves coming up with unexpected shaved ice flavor combinations and makes sure that the Summer Snow brand is known for our aesthetic vibes as well as the relationships we build in our community.

Bo is the muscles and the spreadsheets guy behind this operation. He manages the day to day schedule and is the best known for his “how hard can it be” attitude. His favorite part of the job is sampling leftover snow. His current favorite flavor is Key Lime Pie.
